Moses was anointed by God to deliver the Israelites from their Egyptian masters but did not want to go! Ultimately, although he represented the great 'I AM' in front of the Pharaoh, you may have thought it would be cakewalk for him but no! God did not make it easy for Moses as he hardened the heart of the Pharaoh again and again and again! Ultimately, God di it His way to teach Moses a lesson in obedience!
In Isaiah 45: 9 to 11 it is very clear that God does not like being questioned:
“Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker,
those who are nothing but potsherds
among the potsherds on the ground.
Does the clay say to the potter,
‘What are you making?’
Does your work say,
‘The potter has no hands’?
So how do you approach the 'not so good days' in your life?
When Joshua is faced by a problem ...
In Deuteronomy 3: 21 to 22, the Lord says to Joshua - “You have seen with your own eyes all that the Lord your God has done to these two kings. The Lord will do the same to all the kingdoms over there where you are going. 22 Do not be afraid of them; the Lord your God himself will fight for you.”
Since God is the same yesterday, today and forever, God will always follow the above pattern which is:
if you REMEMBER His past deeds ...
...Be sure that HE WILL DO IT AGAIN!
Whilst you wait, DO NOT FEAR ...
...For, THE BATTLE BELONGS TO THE LORD!
GOD WILL NEVER BREAK HIS NEW COVENANT HE MADE WITH YOU THROUGH THE PRECIOUS BODY AND BLOOD OF HIS SON JESUS!
