In another article i had written that satan does not appear in front of us with blood-dripping fangs and razor sharp talons and horns. He comes to deceive us as 'an angel of light' ! Offence (envy, strife, evil work, lies) will surely block you from receiving God's best for us!
God's dream (plan) for us has always been THE HOLY SPIRIT. If we were created in God's image and likeness, then we must have THE LIFE OF GOD IN US - The Holy Spirit in us! To keep us distracted from 'God's Best' for us, satan has devised religion, the worst enemy to God's Kingdom and a daunting obstacle in achieving God's best for us.
And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high - Luke 24:49
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth - Act 1:8
The same cowardly apostles and disciples of Christ who had fled from the scene at Jesus' capture, trial and crucifixion, are suddenly transformed into mighty men of God who are not afraid to die for Jesus and attract thousands into a relationship with Christ.
Without the Power of the Holy Spirit we cannot impact anything! Absolutely nothing!
